Patna: An Mumbai-bound IndiGo flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Patna after one of its passengers suffered a heart attack mid-flight. The incident occurred on Friday, October 5.
The aircraft in question was flying from Bagdogra to Mumbai, when Amarjeet Tripathi, an Odisha resident, began to complain of chest pain. The flight was then diverted to the Patna airport where it made an emergency landing.
Another aircraft, a SpiceJet flight bound for Delhi from Bangkok, was, on Friday, diverted to Varanasi following the decline in the health of one of its passengers. However, it was too late for the passenger who was declared brought dead at a local hospital.
