New Delhi: Union Minister from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mansukh Lal Mandaviya’s bicycle ride to the Parliament has been a familiar sight over the past five years.
Mandaviya says that bicycle saves fuel, is eco-friendly and riding one daily keeps people healthy. On whether he would be going to the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on a bicycle, he said that it is his passion to commute on a bicycle. “I have always gone to the Parliament on my bicycle,” he added.
Mansukh Mandaviya who is from Bhavnagar district in Gujarat, will be a minister in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government for the second time. He was a minister of state in charge of Road Transport and Highways, Shipping and Chemicals and Fertilisers in the previous Modi government.
