New Delhi: Video clippings of the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) event which had been sent to a forensic probe by the Delhi government, have been found manipulated.
Hyderabad based Truth labs which is probing the authenticity of the videos have found two of the seven videos to be tampered where the voices of persons not present in the clips were added.
“In the manipulated clips, videos have been edited and voices were added. The main report, with a supplementary, has been submitted to the Delhi government,” an official said.
The Delhi government had ordered a magisterial inquiry into the JNU event on February 13.
JNUSU President Kanhaiya Kumar was arrested on sedition charges after several videos surfaced due to the controversy.
