Bollywood star and savvy entrepreneur John Abraham is making waves off-screen with a major real estate move in Mumbai. The Diplomat actor has leased three luxury apartments in Bandra West’s plush Sea Glimpse society for a combined monthly rent of ₹6.3 lakh. The lease was registered on May 29, 2025, with a hefty security deposit of ₹36 lakh and a stamp duty of ₹1.12 lakh.

The lease terms include an 8% annual hike for the first two years, followed by a 5% rise each year for the next two. By the fifth year, the monthly rent is set to hit ₹8 lakh, bringing in a total rental income of approximately ₹4.3 crore over five years. The tenants listed are Varun Talukdar and Pooja Gupta.

Bandra West continues to be Mumbai’s elite address, home to stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. But this isn’t John’s only big-ticket real estate investment. In December 2023, he bought a massive bungalow and plot on Khar’s Linking Road for ₹70.83 crore.

Beyond acting, John’s business empire includes JA Entertainment, ownership of NorthEast United FC, and investments in Subko Coffee and NOTO Ice Cream. His net worth is pegged at ₹251 crore.

A gearhead at heart, John’s garage boasts a Lamborghini Gallardo, Porsche Cayenne Turbo, and superbikes like the BMW S1000RR.

His film The Diplomat, now streaming on Netflix, was released on March 14 after several delays.
