Speaking directly to Prime Minister Modi, Kejriwal recounted previous attempts to scare him, including the arrests of his MLAs and ministers, as well as his own arrest. However, he said that targeting his parents was an unprecedented low.

Kejriwal said that his mother health condition is fragile who suffers from multiple ailments, and his father, who is 85 years old and has hearing issues. He questioned the rationale behind harassing his innocent parents and warned that such actions would not be forgiven.

Earlier reports suggested that Delhi Police might question Kejriwal’s parents regarding an alleged assault on AAP Rajya Sabha member Swati Maliwal at the Chief Minister’s residence on May 13. However, it was later stated that the police might not visit Kejriwal’s residence for this purpose.

Kejriwal’s close aide, Bibhav Kumar, has been arrested in connection with the assault case.
