Senior officials from the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) visited the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) offices on Wednesday to gain insights into the initiatives and schemes implemented in Karnataka. The delegation, led by Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) PS Pramoj Sanker, met with Karnataka’s Managing Director V Anbukumar, who outlined various programs aimed at improving bus operations and passenger services.

Among the initiatives discussed were advancements in bus operations, labor welfare, commercial revenue generation, bus refurbishment, and the introduction of the Human Resource Management System (HRMS). The Kerala team also learned about the “Anywhere Anytime Advance Reservation” (AWATAR) 4.0 e-ticketing system, KSRTC Arogya (health insurance), and the Rs 1-crore accident insurance for passengers. These initiatives are designed to enhance both the operational efficiency and passenger convenience.

The delegation also visited KSRTC’s Depot No. 2, located in the Bengaluru Central Division. Accompanying Pramoj Sanker were key officials such as Financial Advisor and Chief Account Officer A Shaji, General Manager (Estate) Ullas Babu, Deputy General Manager (IT) Nishanth S, and Coordinator (Fuel Division) Naveen NI, with KSRTC Director (Personnel and Vigilance) Nandinidevi K also in attendance.

In other news, KSRTC Managing Director V Anbukumar was recently honored with the Best MD Award at the PSU Atmanirbhar Leadership Awards, which were presented by Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines Satish Chandra Dubey and former Union Minister Satyapal Singh.
