Kalpetta: Close on the heels of a 16-year-old giving birth to a baby and subsequently her perpetrator, a Church Vicar being arrested from Kannur district, six people have been arrested in connection with another alleged molestation and rape case involving seven minor girls over a period of two months at an orphanage in Wayanad district in Kerala.

The victims are all aged about 14 to 15 years and were living in an orphanage at Muttil in Kalpetta. The incident came to light after a girl was seen coming out of a shop in a distraught condition. When the orphanage staff probed, the girl revealed about the incident.

Police were intimated immediately, however, the cops have refused to put out more details in the case as of now.
