
Kerala: Two KSRTC Buses Collide in Kannur, Injuring 35
Kerala: Around 35 passengers sustained injuries in a collision between two Kerala State Road Transportation Corporation (KSRTC) buses near Peravur in Kannur district on Monday.
Details of the Accident
One bus was traveling from Mananthavady to Payyanur, while the other was on its way to Mananthavady. The accident occurred on a narrow stretch of road amidst heavy rainfall, which likely reduced visibility and contributed to the collision.

The impact caused significant damage to the front of one of the buses. Among the injured, one passenger’s condition was reported as serious, while the others sustained minor injuries.
Rescue Operations
Local residents quickly initiated rescue efforts, which were later joined by the Fire Department and Police. The injured passengers were promptly transported to nearby hospitals for medical care.
