Thiruvananthapuram : On Tuesday, Pinarayi Vijayan, the chief minister of Kerala, came under fire from Leader of the Opposition (LoP) V. D. Satheesan, who demanded that the minister receive mental health treatment.
According to Satheesan, Vijayan had written in the file during his tenure as State Power Minister (1996–1998) that an official ought to have his mental health assessed. Now, Vijayan responds to everyone who criticizes him with the same statement. His mental state is deteriorating daily, and things are getting alarming. According to Satheesan, Vijayan’s only option is to receive mental health treatment.
He said that all those people who say anything against the Chief Minister or criticise him for his policies, the Chief Minister labels him or her as a person suffering from mental issues.
Earlier, the Kerala Chief Minister had attacked Satheesan for his frequent attacks on the government and said that Satheesan is not mentally a fit person.
“I fail to understand what has happened to Satheesan. Perhaps he has some mental issues. He always says those things which defy logic or reasoning,” Kerala Chief Minister said at his daily media interaction, which is part of his state wide trip
