Ranchi: RJD chief and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad was admitted to a hospital here on Saturday, March 17 for treatment after he complained of chest pain.
He was admitted to the cardiology department of Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) here, where the doctors conducted ECG and other tests. His condition is said to be stable.
His elder son Tej Pratap Yadav along with senior RJD leaders and hundreds of party supporters have reached the hospital.
Lalu Prasad has been in jail since he was sentenced for his involvement in the fodder scam.
