Surat: We have all seen Modi accessories, heard parents naming their newborn as Narendra Damodardas Modi and many such instances. Now, this trend has entered into the world of ice creams as well. Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the landslide victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2019 general election, an ice cream parlour in the city has come up with ‘Modi Sitafal Kulfi’, a special product.
The ice cream parlour owner Vivek Ajmera has said that the kulfi was completely handmade which would have the face of PM Modi. He has said that it took 24 hours for the preparation of 200 Modi Kulfis.
Vivek has said that the ice creams will only be on sale till prime minister-designate Narendra Modi takes oath on May 30.
According to reports, in one of the Indian news agencies, the ‘limited edition’ kulfis are totally made from natural ingredients and would be sold at a discount of 50 percent. The reports also claim that the public response to Modi Kulfis was positive and is continuing to have very good sales.
