PM Modi To Address Gathering Of Tribal Communities in Jhabua,MP Today

Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address a conference of tribal communities in Madhya Pradesh’s Jhabua district this Sunday, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for development projects totaling ₹7,550 crore, according to officials.

Tribals from various parts of the country will participate in the gathering at Gopalpura, as informed by state BJP media cell chief Ashish Agrawal.

This marks PM Modi’s first visit to the state this year, preceding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Madhya Pradesh holds the highest number of six Lok Sabha seats reserved for tribals among all states.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will distribute monthly installments to nearly two lakh women beneficiaries under the Aahar Anudan Yojana, providing ₹1,500 per month for nutritious food to women, particularly from backward tribes.

Additionally, PM Modi will distribute 1.75 lakh ‘adhikar abhilekh’ (land rights records) under the SVAMITVA scheme, ensuring documented land rights for people.

He will lay the foundation stone for Tantya Mama Bhil University, catering to youth from tribal-dominated districts, with an estimated cost of ₹170 crore.

Moreover, PM Modi will transfer funds of ₹55.9 crore for 559 villages under the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana, to be utilized for various construction activities.

He will also lay the foundation stone for ‘CM Rise School’ in Jhabua, integrating technology for modern facilities.

Furthermore, PM Modi will dedicate and lay the foundation stone for multiple water supply projects, strengthening provisioning of drinking water in Madhya Pradesh.

Rail projects including the redevelopment of Ratlam and Meghnagar railway stations, doubling of Indore-Dewas-Ujjain C cabin railway line, and others, will also be inaugurated.

Moreover, road development projects costing over ₹3,275 crore in Madhya Pradesh, waste dumpsite remediation, electric substation, among other initiatives, will be dedicated and initiated by PM Modi during the event.
