Hyderabad police have initiated legal action against a social media personality accused of swindling a girl under the guise of marriage. The influencer allegedly met the girl through an online platform, building trust and eventually deceiving her for financial gain.

As per the details shared by the SR Nagar police, the accused convinced the girl to lend him money several times, with the promise of marriage. However, he later backed out of his commitment, leaving her in a vulnerable position. Additionally, he reportedly took loans from online lending apps using the girl’s name, further complicating the situation.

When the girl confronted his parents with her complaints, she was allegedly met with threats, intensifying her distress. With no other recourse, she decided to seek help from the authorities.

The SR Nagar police have filed a case and begun their investigation into the matter. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the case is still under review. The police are working to gather further evidence and identify the individual involved.

This incident has raised concerns over the risks of online relationships  and marriage scams and the need for greater caution when sharing personal information with strangers on social media platforms.
