Gurgaon: Maruti Suzuki plant at Manesar here wore a deserted look on Thursday morning as the workers were asked to stay away.
As per sources, a leopard was seen entering the plant at 4 am and soon the morning shift workers were asked not to enter the plant till the animal was safely extracted.
Taking leads from the CCTV footage, the police and forest officials have begun a rescue operation to retrieve the animal unharmed. The animal was last seen near the engine room of the plant.
At the time the leopard entered the plant, only the security guards and transport department staff were present.
