New Delhi: Roman Saini, an MBBS graduate and an Assistant District Collector, gave up his lucrative career and ventured into something for which he knew he would not get power and clout like his previous professions.
At a young age of 24, he had everything a man of his age would dream of. But he brushed them aside and went on to setup ‘Unacademy,’ India’s largest free education initiative to ensure that academic hurdles do not come in between youth and their aspirations.
Saini uploads lectures on Youtube for aspiring doctors, civil servants, computer programmers, even experts in foreign languages. Unacademy has now 20,000 Twitter followers and 64,000 Facebook likes.
