A missing student case has taken a dramatic turn after a man rammed his vehicle into the VIP gate of the Delhi Assembly, triggering a major security scare.
Family dispute behind incident
According to police, the accused, Sarabjit Singh (37), was reportedly upset with his brother-in-law Harpreet for not informing him earlier that his nephew was missing.
The family has been searching for Harman (20), a second-year BTech student, who has been untraceable for the past three days.
Student missing since April 1
Investigations revealed that Harman had left Delhi by bus on April 1. His last known location was traced to Nangal in Anandpur Sahib, Punjab, after which his mobile phone was switched off.
Family members said the student had never left home without informing them and was known to be focused on his studies.
