Lucknow: Lucknow Metro celebrated its first anniversary and during the celebrations Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the government is planning to connect more cities with the metro.
To mark the occasion, the CM also launched the Metro app that allows commuters to recharge their Metro GoSmart cards, get information about nearest stations, fares and train timings. The app was also integrated with the Indian government’s ‘Chalo App’ and will act as a guide for the city.
He also said that a detailed project plan has been sent for Kanpur, Agra and Meerut. The Lucknow Metro phase-2 expansions are set to begin in 2019.
