Telangana: In a shocking incident, Telangana Member of Parliament Kotha Prabhakar Reddy was stabbed while campaigning in Siddipet district. The attack occurred as the MP was walking towards a pastor’s home. An unidentified man approached him, seemingly to shake hands, but suddenly pulled out a knife and stabbed Reddy in the stomach.
Quick action by the BRS workers present at the rally led to the immediate arrest of the attacker, who is now in police custody.
Siddipet Commissioner of Police N Swetha confirmed the arrest, stating, “The assailant has been taken into custody. We are verifying his details.” Investigations are ongoing to determine the motive behind the attack and any potential connections the attacker might have had.
