Jharkhand: When the country is tension tensions flaring between the Hindus and Muslims regarding the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), the Garhwa district in Jharkhand has set an example and given a befitting reply to all those who are trying to bring a rift between the two religions.

As per reports, a Muslim man named Kariman Mian passed away recently and when his funeral arrangements were to be made, his family shockingly refused to do so. When the deceased’s family objected to performing his last rites, it was a group of Hindus who came forward to give the man a respectable send-off.

It is learned that the family had refused to bury Kariman because he allegedly indulged in black magic along with the Hindus.

Disgusted by the incident, Kariman’s grandson, Alam Ansari said that his family’s behaviour was “shameful” and that it was the Hindu community that came forward to perform the burial.

Similarly, Kariman’s daughter praised the gesture of their Hindu brethren and said that according to the “Sharia law” of Islam, it was the family’s duty to perform the last rites of the dead and it was forbidden to stop it. Criticizing those who backed away from performing her father’s last rites, she said that they will surely go to hell for what they did and the Hindu brethren will find a way to heaven.
