The NCC Republic Day Camp 2025 commenced on Monday at the Cariappa Parade Ground, Delhi Cantonment, bringing together 2,361 cadets from across India for a month-long event. Among them are 917 girl cadets—the largest number in the camp’s history.

Cadets from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh (114) and the Northeast region (178) are part of this diverse group. The camp also includes officers and cadets from 14 friendly nations under the Youth Exchange Programme, according to the Defence Ministry.

Inaugurated with a “Sarva Dharm Pooja,” the camp aims to instill patriotism, discipline, and leadership in its participants. Lt Gen Gurbirpal Singh, Director General of NCC, encouraged cadets to uphold values of integrity, selfless service, and unity, transcending barriers of religion, language, and caste.

The Republic Day Camp provides a platform for training, cultural exchange, and social service, fostering camaraderie and national pride.

This milestone event reflects the essence of “Nation First,” bringing cadets together from all 28 states and eight Union territories to celebrate India’s unity in diversity.
