Two-time Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra recently married his partner, Himani Mor, a former tennis player, in a private wedding ceremony. The javelin star shared glimpses of his special day on social media on January 19, 2025. Neeraj expressed his joy, writing, “Started a new chapter of life with my family. Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after.”
The wedding, held in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, was a small, intimate affair attended by close family members, with just 40-50 guests present. Neeraj and Himani are currently honeymooning in the United States, and a grand reception will be hosted upon their return to India.
Neeraj had kept details of his wedding private, and the release of the first photos took fans by surprise. One of the heartwarming moments shared included Neeraj receiving a blessing from his mother at the ceremony.
The wedding took place months after Neeraj won a silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, marking his second Olympic medal. He had previously made history by winning India’s first individual gold in a track and field event at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
Himani Mor, originally from Sonipat, Haryana, has an extensive background in sports management and is currently a graduate assistant at Amherst College in Massachusetts.
