New Delhi: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on becoming India’s longest-serving elected prime minister, surpassing the tenure of Jawaharlal Nehru.

In a video message shared by the Israeli Prime Minister’s office on Wednesday, Netanyahu praised Modi’s leadership, describing him as a transformative leader who has strengthened both India and India-Israel relations during his tenure.

Addressing the Indian Prime Minister, Netanyahu said, “Prime Minister Modi, my dear friend Narendra, congratulations on becoming India’s longest-serving elected prime minister.”

The Israeli leader credited Modi with transforming India and earning the admiration of millions of people across the world. He also highlighted the growing partnership between India and Israel, describing bilateral ties as stronger than ever before.

According to Netanyahu, the relationship between the two nations has witnessed significant growth under Modi’s leadership, with cooperation expanding across several sectors including trade, technology, defence and innovation.
