Noida Woman Finds Centipede Inside Amul Ice Cream Tub Ordered Online

Centipede

Deepa Devi had intended to prepare a mango shake for her five-year-old son using Amul Vanilla Magic ice cream ordered from Blinkit. However, her plans took a horrifying turn when she discovered an unexpected visitor in the tub – a centipede. The incident occurred in Sector 12 of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, turning what should have been a pleasant treat into a distressing ordeal.

Upon opening the ice cream tub, instead of finding creamy vanilla goodness, Deepa was greeted by the unsettling sight of a centipede frozen inside. She captured the surreal moment on video, which quickly went viral on social media, sparking concerns about food safety standards.

Following the incident, Deepa promptly lodged a complaint with Blinkit, the e-commerce platform from which she purchased the ice cream. They refunded the ₹195 cost of the product and assured her that they had escalated the issue to Amul for further investigation.

This unsettling occurrence highlights broader concerns about food safety and quality control. It echoes a recent incident involving Dr. Orlem Brandon Serrao from Mumbai, who discovered a human finger in his Yummo brand butterscotch ice cream cone, leading to a case being filed against the ice cream company for food adulteration and endangering human life.
