New Delhi: In a tragic incident, a Pakistani International Airlines aircraft carrying 99 passengers and eight crew members crashed in a residential area near Karachi. What is even more tragic is that the terrible news was celebrated by some Indians on social media.
While many people on Twitter expressed shock and offered sympathies for those affected by the crash, many on social media noticed that a few Indians were rejoicing at the tragedy and milking the incident for jokes.

Pakistanis on the micro-blogging platform were disturbed and disgusted by this behaviour. Some called the blatant show of disregard for their fellow humans “sick” while others cited it as an example of a “morally dead society”.
“Humanity is dead and buried in India. Most Indians enjoying the tragedy off PIA #planecrash in Karachi, Pakistan.#piacrash,” wrote user @freddyefaizan.
Another user criticised those rejoicing in the tragedy and thanked those “Indians who are sympathizing with the martyred” for “being human”.

An extremely cheap, mentally sickening, inhumane, horrifying comments about #Piacrash from Indians in below snaps, how dirty and retarded is Indian nation celebrating and congratulating on more the 100 humane deaths.

Some netizens also took it upon themselves to point out that “not all Indians are the same”!

While there is no official confirmation about the exact number of deaths as a result of the plane crash, some reports suggest that the number is upwards of 30. As many as four people have been pulled out from the debris alive so far.
