Proceedings in both Houses were repeatedly adjourned on Tuesday as Opposition members demanded immediate discussions on the issues.
Opposition presses for debate
In the Lok Sabha, Opposition MPs began raising slogans as soon as the House assembled for Question Hour, demanding a discussion on the alleged examination irregularities and the police action against students protesting in Delhi.
The disruptions prevented normal proceedings, prompting repeated adjournments.

The Rajya Sabha witnessed similar scenes, with Leader of the Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge seeking to raise the issue of the alleged police action against students.
His remarks triggered protests from treasury bench members, leading to counter-slogans and continued disruptions. Despite attempts to restore order, repeated interruptions forced Deputy Chairman Harivansh to adjourn the House for the remainder of the day.
