Punjab: Missing posters of actor-turned-politician Sunny Deol have been posted near the railway station in Pathankot.
“Gumshuda Ki Talaash”, reads the poster, hinting that the voters have not seen the BJP MP from Gurdaspur constituency for a very long time now.
Deol, who won the election by defeating sitting MP and Congress candidate Sunil Jakhar by 82,459 votes from Gurdaspur Lok Sabha seat in Punjab had earlier stirred controversy by appointing a personal assistant to handle the constituency, last year.
However, justifying his move, Deol had then said that the controversy was unfortunate and that his intention was to only help his people and also make sure that the work is going on without any hurdles.
Now, with the people posting missing posters has only caused more embarrassment to the MP, who had claimed that he is committed to the welfare of his people.
