Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala): President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit the Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa temple on October 22, the final day of the Thulamasa Pooja darshan, Kerala Devaswom Minister V N Vasavan announced on Monday. The President will offer prayers at the hill shrine in the evening before returning to Thiruvananthapuram.

The Sabarimala temple, located deep inside the forest, opens for devotees only during the Thulamasa Pooja, which this year is observed from October 18 to 22. President Murmu’s visit coincides with the final day of the festival, marking an important religious occasion for the devotees.
