In Chittorgarh district, a principal and a teacher from a government school were temporarily removed from their posts after a video showing them in a “compromised situation” circulated on social media. This move followed a formal complaint and the widespread sharing of the controversial video.

An official notification issued by the district’s education department announced the suspension of both staff members while a thorough investigation is initiated. A committee comprising three officials has been appointed to look into the matter, with the findings expected to be submitted within a week.

Rajendra Kumar Sharma, the District Education Officer for elementary education, confirmed the immediate suspension of the two educators. He clarified that the principal would report to the office of the Chief Education Officer, while the teacher would be reassigned to another office. The investigation aims to examine the incident in detail and determine appropriate actions based on the outcome.

This swift response underscores the education department’s commitment to maintaining discipline and integrity within its institutions. The suspension is considered a temporary measure until the investigation is concluded. Both the school’s head and the teacher will remain under scrutiny while the inquiry unfolds.
