The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) announced the Class 12 board results on May 14, 2025, via its official website, pseb.ac.in. This year’s results show a notable performance by girls, who achieved a pass rate of 94.32%, outshining boys, whose pass percentage stood at 88.08%.
The overall pass percentage for 2025 is 91%, marking a slight decline from 93.04% in 2024. Interestingly, rural students performed marginally better than their urban counterparts. Out of 1,49,085 rural candidates, 1,35,969 passed, achieving a pass percentage of 91.20%. In contrast, urban areas saw 1,05,537 out of 1,16,303 candidates clearing the exams, recording a 90.74% pass rate.
Among academic streams, Science led with a pass rate of 98.52%, followed by Commerce (96.83%), Vocational (90%), and Humanities (87.58%).
Topping the charts, Harsirat Kaur secured a perfect 500/500, followed by Manveer Kaur and Arsh, both scoring 498/500.
The Class 12 exams were held from February 19 to April 4, 2025, with 2,65,388 students appearing and 2,41,506 clearing the board exams.
