The Punjab School Education Department has come under fire after fake transfer orders for 57 clerks, data operators, and sewadars went viral on social media. These fraudulent documents caused widespread confusion, as officials mistakenly believed them to be genuine directives. Several District Education Officers (DEOs) began implementing the fake orders, transferring employees to new locations based on the false instructions.

In response to the chaos, the Director of the School Education Department issued an urgent letter to all DEOs, urging them to disregard the misleading transfer orders. The letter emphasized that some school heads and DEOs had already acted on the fraudulent orders, prompting immediate corrective action.

To address the situation, the Director General of School Education (DGSE) has instructed officials to only follow transfer orders communicated through official email channels. They have also been advised to carefully verify the authenticity of any orders before proceeding with changes.

The circulation of these fake orders has sparked concerns about misinformation and its potential impact on the smooth functioning of the department. Authorities are investigating the source of the fraudulent documents and vow to take strict action against those responsible.

Meanwhile, school officials and employees are being reminded to rely solely on official communications and to report any suspicious directives promptly to avoid further disruption.
