Case Registered For Sharing Controversial Photo Of Rahul Gandhi On Social Media

New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a sharp critique against the government on Thursday, addressing alleged irregularities in the NEET exam and the cancellation of UGC-NET. He claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has “psychologically collapsed” following the elections and will face significant challenges in effectively governing.

In a press conference, Gandhi accused the RSS and BJP of seizing control of educational institutions, asserting that paper leaks would persist unless this influence is curtailed. “While it is said that Prime Minister Modi stopped the Ukraine-Russia War and Israel-Gaza conflict, he either cannot or will not prevent exam paper leaks,” Gandhi remarked.

Gandhi recounted that during his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, thousands of individuals voiced their concerns about paper leaks. He suggested that the Vyapam scam, a notorious examination and recruitment fraud in Madhya Pradesh, has now spread nationwide.

Gandhi emphasized that procedures should be consistent, stating, “Rules applied to one exam should be applied to all.” He also announced that the Opposition plans to address the issue of exam paper leaks in Parliament.

The NEET medical entrance exam is currently embroiled in controversy over alleged irregularities, with the matter now before the Supreme Court. The Union education ministry canceled the UGC-NET on Wednesday night following concerns about the exam’s integrity and has referred the investigation to the CBI.
