Jaipur:Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma surprised officials with an impromptu visit to Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital, expressing dissatisfaction with the hospital’s disorder.
While en route to the BJP office, the CM decided to assess healthcare services at the hospital, finding Hospital Superintendent Dr. Achal Sharma absent. Only Deputy Superintendents Dr. Anil Dubey and Dr. Jagdish Modi were present.
The CM, angered by the hospital’s filth, scolded Dr. Achal Sharma, emphasizing the need for active fieldwork. He directed immediate cleaning efforts and accommodations for patient families, expressing disappointment over the hospital’s cleanliness.
During the visit, the CM interacted with patients, criticized staff shortages, and instructed the staff to prioritize cleanliness in one of the country’s premier hospitals.
