Jalore: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a veiled swipe at Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, during a public rally in Rajasthan’s Jalore. Modi criticized those who can’t win elections opted Rajya Sabha route to Parliamen. Highlighting the election of several senior Congress leaders to the Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan, suggesting their lack of commitment to grassroots politics.
PM Modi said that the electorate is holding the Congress accountable for its past actions, referring to the party’s diminished electoral presence compared to its previous dominance. He asserted that the youth of the nation harbors significant resentment towards the Congress and is determined to usher in a new era of governance.
The Prime Minister warned against a return to the conditions prevailing before 2014, attributing past shortcomings to the Congress’s alleged nepotism and corruption. He portrayed the Congress-led UPA era as characterized by inefficiency and internal strife, insinuating that the party’s leadership was weak and ineffective.
PM Modi criticized the formation of the opportunistic INDIA Bloc, highlighting internal conflicts within the coalition as evidence of its instability. He cautioned against entrusting the nation’s governance to such factions, suggesting that their internal discord would impede progress and stability.
