In a shocking breach of privacy, video footage of women patients at a maternity hospital in Rajkot, Gujarat, has allegedly surfaced online. Authorities have ordered an investigation after clips recorded inside a labour room were found circulating on Telegram and YouTube.

According to reports, seven videos were uploaded to the Megha MBBS YouTube channel, with viewers asked to pay ₹999 to ₹1,500 for full access. The linked Telegram group used misleading thumbnails of women at Maha Kumbh to attract subscribers.

Cyber Crime Assistant Commissioner Hardik Makadia revealed that the accused shared screenshots from the clips to lure users into paying for similar content. Preliminary findings indicate that the YouTube account was created in September and was used to distribute these sensitive recordings.

Payal Hospital, the facility under scrutiny, claims their footage may have been hacked and has pledged full cooperation with investigators. Meanwhile, Rajkot West BJP MLA Dr Darshita Shah has urged authorities to conduct a thorough probe into the incident.

The case has raised serious concerns over patient privacy and cybersecurity in medical institutions. Authorities are actively tracking the culprits behind the leak.
