Rampur (UP): Bizarre, though it may sound, but a youth in Rampur called up the district magistrate’s control room and asked for samosas with chutney, even as the officials were all busy handing the lockdown situation.

Despite being ticked off by the control room, he kept calling and asking for four samosas as he was craving for the snack.

Finally, the district magistrate Aujaneya Kumar asked the officials to send him four samosas.

However, the samosas came with the *conditions applied tag!

The District Magistrate, who sent the samosas also asked the officials to make sure that the youth cleans the drains as punishment for disrupting officials from performing their duties and troubling them during lockdown.

Cleaning the drains is the punishment being given to those who unncessarily come out of their homes during the lockdown period and the DM has shared  many pictures of people serving this punishment.

Later, the district magistrate shared pictures of the youth cleaning the drain on his Twitter handle though he did not name the youth.
