Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fast bowler Yash Dayal has been named in an FIR registered under the POCSO Act and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) by the Jaipur Police. The case was filed at Sanganer Sadar police station, Jaipur, and was confirmed by SHO Anil Jaiman.

According to the FIR, the 27-year-old cricketer is accused of misconduct with a minor in 2023, with a second alleged incident occurring in April 2025 during his IPL stint in Jaipur. The complainant claims Dayal had assured her of professional support and later contacted her while in the city for the tournament.

Dayal has not issued any statement in response to this or a separate complaint filed in Ghaziabad, where another individual has made allegations of personal misconduct during a past relationship.

Yash Dayal is a domestic cricket regular for Uttar Pradesh, having debuted in 2018. His record includes 84 wickets in 27 first-class matches and 66 wickets in 71 T20s. He entered the IPL with Gujarat Titans in 2022 and was bought by RCB for ₹5 crore in the 2024 auction. He remained a key player for the team in the 2025 title-winning season.

The current case is under investigation, and no official legal conclusions have been drawn yet.
