New Delhi: After shocking visuals of a man dressed in maroon t-shirt approaching policeman, pointing a pistol at him and then indiscriminately firing during the recent Delhi riots was recently identified as Mohommed Shahrukh from Shahdara.
However, the fake news factory mills churned out the news that the rioter was not Shahrukh. Instead, they claimed that it was an upcoming Hindu actor name Anurag Mishra.
Facebook page Ruhani ILAAJ AASAN Amal posted a series of photos with a caption in Hindi which translates to, “Shahrukh turned out to be Anurag Mishra. Look at the Islamophobic outlook of police and media and the propaganda they’re indulging in,” reports India Today.
However, clarifying that he has nothing to do with the violent video, Anurag Mishra himself posted a clipping. In the video, Mishra said that he is ready to fight a legal battle against people who have unnecessarily dragged his name.
As per Mishra’s profile, he is an actor living in Mumbai, hailing from Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
As far as the rioter is concerned, as per ANI, the police have already arrested him.
