
Saif Ali Khan Recovering After Knife Attack at Mumbai Home
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, known for his roles in Omkara, Dil Chahta Hai, and Kal Ho Naa Ho, was injured during an attack at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai, early Thursday morning.
Dr. Nitin Dange from Lilavati Hospital confirmed that Khan was admitted around 2 AM with significant injuries. “He sustained a severe injury to his thoracic spinal cord due to a knife lodged in his spine,” Dr. Dange explained. “A surgery was performed to remove the knife and repair spinal fluid leakage. Additionally, other wounds on his left hand and neck were treated by the plastic surgery team. He is stable and recovering well.”
The news of the attack has sent shockwaves through India, with fans and fellow celebrities expressing their concern. Reports suggest the assailant was present at the actor’s residence overnight. Khan was reportedly injured during a scuffle when the intruder attempted to enter a room.
Doctors mentioned that Khan suffered multiple stab wounds, two of which were more severe and close to his spine. Authorities are investigating the incident, including questioning workers who were present at the home for floor work in the days before the attack.
