New Delhi: On Monday, November 19, the country’s apex court declined an urgent listing from CBI officer Manish Kumar Sinha, who was seeking to revoke his transfer to Nagpur amidst the ongoing turmoil in the top investigation agency.

Through his lawyer, DIG Sinha, one of the officers investigating the case against PNB scam, told the court that he wanted to bring some shocking facts to light. To this, Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, the head of the three-judge bench, responded saying, “Nothing shocks us”.

The three-judge bench included Justices SK Kaul and KM Joseph. They are scheduled to hear Verma’s plea, challenging the Centre’s decision to remove him from his duties and send him on a leave on Tuesday.
