Shooter Involved in Delhi Car Showroom Firing Killed in Police Encounter

New Delhi: An individual who opened fire at a car showroom in Delhi’s Tilak Nagar, purportedly to intimidate the owner, met his demise in a confrontation with law enforcement on Thursday evening.

The individual, known as Ajay aka Goli, was reportedly fatally shot during an encounter with the Delhi Police’s Special Cell in the Bhalswa Dairy area of Outer Delhi, as per police sources.

Allegedly, on May 6, Ajay discharged multiple rounds of ammunition at a car showroom situated in Tilak Nagar.

Hailing from Sonipat, Ajay was said to have ties with gangster Himanshu Bhau, who is believed to be evading authorities in Portugal.

Accompanied by another individual identified as Abhishek aka Churan, Ajay was reportedly involved in the aforementioned incident. Abhishek was apprehended on May 10 in a police raid near Model Town in North Delhi, where authorities seized a pistol and six cartridges from him. Abhishek is reported to have a criminal record, including four cases under the Arms Act, as well as charges related to murder and attempted murder. Police sources claim that Abhishek aided Himanshu in eluding law enforcement prior to his departure to Portugal.

Previously, the said gangster had allegedly made extortion threats to car dealers in Delhi, demanding significant sums of money. One such incident involved him allegedly demanding ₹5 crore from a luxury car dealer while on the run.
