Raebareli: Cricketer/politician Navjot Singh Sidhu has dared Bharatiya Janata Party Lok Sabha candidate from Amethi, Smriti Irani to win the elections against AICC President Rahul Gandhi, here on Monday, April 29.

He has challenged that if Congress candidate from Amethi Rahul Gandhi loses, then he would retire from politics.

Sidhu said that Smriti Irani was not a competitor for RaGa and that there was no tough fight between the two.

He said that no development had taken place in Amethi after the BJP took over. He rubbished the allegation by BJP that no development had taken place in the country in the past seven decades of Congress regime.

Sidhu said that in 70 years, the country had manufactured a needle to the aircraft.

Meanwhile, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has barred Sidhu from campaigning for three days following several controversial statements made by him.
