NEW DELHI – A six-year-old student from a school in Northeast Delhi’s Shri Ram Colony reportedly endured internal ear bleeding after being physically assaulted by a teacher on February 17. The matter surfaced the following day when a PCR call alerted authorities.

The Class 1 student was rushed for a medical check-up, which confirmed internal bleeding in his ear, though no visible external wounds were detected.

Initially, the boy’s mother refrained from lodging a formal complaint, citing her husband’s absence as he had traveled to Bihar. Despite her reluctance, law enforcement pursued an inquiry into the case.

Following further investigation, the police officially registered a complaint, and efforts are now underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack. The authorities are closely examining the incident to ensure appropriate legal action is taken.

This disturbing episode has sparked concerns over student safety and disciplinary practices in schools, highlighting the urgent need for strict oversight.
