Speeding Jeep Causes Multi-Vehicle Crash on National Highway 66 in Kerala
A speeding jeep lost control and collided with a Kerala transport bus before hitting a motorcycle on National Highway 66 near Adankudru on Wednesday evening. The crash left two motorcycle riders injured after the jeep overturned due to the force of the impact.
The incident unfolded when the jeep, traveling from Mangaluru towards Kasargod, crashed into the rear of the Kerala transport bus. The driver, attempting to regain control of the vehicle, swerved left, striking a motorcycle carrying two riders before the jeep eventually overturned into a roadside ditch.
The accident caused significant traffic delays on the highway, with the road being blocked for several hours. Mangaluru South traffic police have registered a case and are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
