‘Supercop’ Daya Nayak seizes cocaine worth Rs 2.75 Cr

Mumbai: In a successful investigation near Jogeshwari, the Mumbai Police with the help of “Encounter Specialist” Inspector Daya Nayak has seized 472 gm of cocaine which is estimated to be worth Rs 2.75 Crore from near Jogeshwari.

Earlier this year, on August 13, Daya Nayak had arrested a Brazilian at the Mumbai International Airport following a definite information regarding drugs worth about worth Rs 2.5 Crore being smuggled in. The suspect was then arrested on confirmation.

The operation was led by Inspector Daya Nayak under the guidance of DCP Paramjeet Dahiya. Mumbai Police Commissioner Deven Bharati and Additional Commissioner Manoj Kumar have lauded the team for the successful operation.
