Swiggy announced the launch of its new ‘Fasting Mode’ feature on Monday, designed to cater to users observing fasting periods such as Ramzan and Navratri. This mode allows users to pause food notifications during fasting hours while ensuring the platform is ready when needed.

The feature can be activated or deactivated easily via the Swiggy app, and once turned on, food notifications will be paused from Suhoor (pre-dawn) until 4 PM for those observing fasts during Ramzan. After fasting hours, notifications will automatically resume, eliminating the need for users to manually turn them back on.

Swiggy plans to keep this feature available throughout the year for various fasting occasions, offering more flexibility to users during these times.
