A shocking incident unfolded in a Madhya Pradesh school on February 25, when a teacher was caught aiding students in cheating during an exam by solving the Mathematics question paper on a blackboard. The entire episode, captured on camera, went viral on social media, drawing immediate attention to the matter.

The teacher, identified as Sangeeta Vishwakarma, a primary school teacher in Betul district, was seen helping students cheat by writing the answers on the blackboard. The video, shared online, quickly gained widespread attention, prompting the district administration to take swift action.

Betul Collector Narendra Kumar Suryavanshi immediately ordered an investigation into the incident. Upon enquiry, the allegations against Vishwakarma were confirmed, leading to her suspension. The Assistant Commissioner of the Tribal Affairs Department, Shilpa Jain, clarified that the teacher had misused her role as an invigilator to facilitate cheating.

Following her suspension, a disciplinary investigation was initiated, and further actions may be taken if more serious charges are substantiated. Additionally, the examination centre head and assistant head are under scrutiny, with the possibility of an FIR being filed based on the findings.

In response to this incident, the education department has issued a stern warning to all teachers, emphasizing that any form of cheating or assistance in cheating will result in severe penalties. Authorities have also been instructed to implement stricter monitoring at examination centres to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
