
Teen gone missing, belongings found near railway tracks
A 17-year-old student from Farangipete has gone missing under puzzling circumstances. Identified as Diganth, he was a second-year pre-university college student in Mangaluru.
On the evening of February 25, Diganth informed his family that he was heading to a nearby temple. However, he neither reached the temple nor returned home, leading to growing anxiety among his loved ones.
As the search for him intensified, his footwear and mobile phone were discovered abandoned near the railway tracks close to his house, deepening the mystery of his sudden disappearance.
His family, unable to trace his whereabouts, reported the matter to the authorities. The Bantwal Rural police have officially registered a case and launched an extensive probe into the incident.
Investigators are exploring multiple possibilities and gathering leads to determine what may have transpired. His last-known activities and phone records are expected to play a crucial role in unraveling the case.
