Patna: RJD leader, Bihar’s former deputy chief minister, Tejashwi Yadav has labeled poll strategist Prashant Kishor as a “BJP agent.” Yadav alleges that Kishor’s recent involvement in Bihar’s politics  particularly amid the ongoing elections, signifies a ploy orchestrated by the BJP to manipulate the narrative.

Tejashwi Yadav stated that the BJP, sensing defeat in the elections, has called upon Prashant Kishor to intervene after three-four rounds of voting. This move, according to Yadav, aims to sway public opinion and salvage the BJP’s electoral prospects.

Kishor, who now heads his own political party – Jan Suraaj, has long been a prominent figure in Bihar politics.

Tejashwi Yadav further alleges that Nitish Kumar had admitted to appointing Prashant Kishor as the national vice president of JDU under pressure from Home Minister Amit Shah. According to Yadav, this acknowledgment highlights Kishor’s deep-rooted ties with the BJP.

Moreover, Tejashwi Yadav accuses Kishor of maintaining a network of paid district presidents, a practice even the BJP purportedly refrains from. Yadav questions the source of Kishor’s funding and alleges that Kishor manipulates data and constantly shifts alliances for personal gain.

In a scathing remark, Tejashwi Yadav brands Prashant Kishor not only as a BJP agent but as someone who embodies the BJP’s ideology and mindset. Yadav goes on to claim that Kishor’s activities are funded by the BJP as part of its larger political strategy.

These allegations surface amidst the circulation of a fake screenshot on social media, falsely claiming that the BJP has appointed Prashant Kishor as their national spokesperson. The incident prompted Kishor’s Jan Suraaj party to condemn the circulation of fake news, particularly singling out Congress leader Jairam Ramesh for allegedly endorsing the fabricated document.
