Hyderabad: Two students from Telangana, enrolled in Arizona State University in the United States, tragically lost their lives in a road accident in Peoria, Arizona. The incident occurred when a vehicle they were traveling in collided with another car on Saturday night, local time.
The deceased, identified as Nivesh Mukka and Goutham Kumar Parsi, aged 19, hailed from Huzurabad and Station Ghanpur respectively. Both were pursuing studies in computer science engineering.
According to reports received by their families, the students, along with their friends, were on their way back from the university when the accident happened. Nivesh and Goutham succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while the drivers of both vehicles sustained injuries.
Nivesh, the son of Naveen and Swathi, who are both doctors, has left behind grieving family members. The families of the deceased have urged the Indian government for assistance in repatriating their bodies for final rites.
