Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams to launch ‘digital services’ for devotees

Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is planning to launch “Digital Tirumala” for its devotees across the country and abroad with the intention to provide enhanced services. TTD manages the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala near Tirupati.

A detailed discussion was held over “Digital Tirumala” by TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao and N Chandrasekharan, CEO of IT major TCS on Saturday, said TTD Public Relations Officer T Ravi.

After the introduction of proposed Digital Service, devotees of Lord Venkateswara can avail a wide range of services, including e-hundi, e-darshan, e-accommodation and e-TTD Publications and e-TTD Audio and Video from anywhere in the world with their mobile phone also, he said.

Chandrasekharan expressed happiness to work with TTD in developing an IT application to provide a wide range of pilgrims services, Ravi said.
